For the community project I participated with Unicef in collaborating in “BOX” activity in which Volunteers were briefed and informed about human trafficking and how it affects new York and every place they can imagine with facts about the issues and how they can help alleviate it and support the fight against it. For this event I as a volunteer had to inform people of what human trafficking can look like in our communities and how to support and fight against it. It was a very interesting and eye opening experience in which the people who I spoke to and myself included learned a lot about how prevalent some of these issues can be and also it showed us how tragic and terrible human trafficking really is.
